About This Vehicle
This is a brand new 2026 Subaru Ascent Limited Bronze Edition SUV, and it just arrived. Its finished in Crystal White Pearl, paired with a Black StarTex interior that feels upscale, durable, and family-ready. The mileage is currently just 5, and because this vehicle is brand new and untitled, it includes the full factory warranty for complete peace of mind from day one. Power comes from Subarus turbocharged 2.4L H-4 Boxer engine, running on gasoline and paired with a smooth 8-speed CVT. Subarus legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is always working beneath you, giving confident traction in rain, snow, gravel, and everyday driving. EPA ratings come in at 19 MPG city and 25 MPG highway, striking a great balance between performance and efficiency for a three-row SUV. The Bronze Edition stands out with exclusive bronze-finished 20-inch alloy wheels, raised roof rails, LED fog lights, and a panoramic power moonroof that fills the cabin with natural light. LED steering-responsive headlights and automatic high beams help you see clearly on dark roads while adding a modern, premium look from every angle. Inside, this Ascent is designed for families who want comfort without compromise. StarTex water-repellent upholstery makes cleanup easy after busy days, while heated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel keep everyone comfortable when temperatures drop. The power front seats with memory, tri-zone automatic climate control, and power liftgate make everyday errands and long road trips feel effortless. Technology is front and center with Subarus massive 11.6-inch touchscreen, built-in navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, WiFi hotspot capability, and a Harman Kardon premium sound system that delivers rich, immersive audio. The Surround View Monitor and backup camera make parking and tight spaces feel stress-free, even with a full cabin. Safety is where the Ascent truly shines. EyeSight Driver Assist with adaptive cruise control, lane centering, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, driver monitoring, front and rear collision mitigation, and reverse automatic braking work together to protect what matters most. Add in three rows of seating, excellent cargo flexibility, and Subarus reputation for long-term reliability, and this Ascent is ready for anything family life throws your way. Great SUV and value!!!

We have a 2022 Limited. It has been a great car with great options. It rides smoothly. It’s great in snow and ice. It has a lot of options for the price, and Subaru is always at the top of the list for safety. - 4.0
Great up to a point

We have a 2020 Ascent Limited. We like its features. Ride is a bit bumpy (my wife's term) and there can be more than a little road noise - but less than in the Outback we used to own. Engine is strong. Don't believe those who say the accelerator is "touchy". Mileage is good at 23 - 24. The only major issue was with the CVT at 125,000 miles. Dealer wanted $5000 to replace the torque converters. I contacted Subaru and they covered the full repair out of warranty. Bullet dodged. My advice is to trade it under 100,000 miles. - 5.0
The Great Ascent
by Dorrellkc on 1/30/2026 3:00:46 AM
If your looking for a big Forester then the Ascent is it. Gas mileage is more smiles per gallon vs anything reasonable. The third row comes in handy when needed, but don't expect to put full size adults in the third row for more than a couple of hours. The third row should be reserved for the kids. The radio is ok but it does lag from the initial startup of the car to pressing buttons which is a bit annoying and I wish that I could update the software to the new software that is in the 26 Outback. Even with all of that said, the Ascent fits our needs and we are happy with the AWD system and the overall handling. The Ascent is a joy to drive and has been very capable when needed. Keep up with the maintenance schedule and drive it like a normal human and the vehicle will treat you well.
