Whether you’re cruising the highway or winding through the mountains, you’ll be surrounded by crisp sound and seamless connectivity.

Safety is one of this Outback’s greatest strengths. Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology includes adaptive cruise control with lane centering, pre-collision braking, lane keep assist, and driver monitoring all working together to create a calmer, more confident driving experience. You’ll also find Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, and a front-view camera that helps you see obstacles before they’re a problem. Few SUVs offer this level of all-around visibility and security.

Outside, the Outback Onyx XT stands apart with black 18-inch alloy wheels, LED steering-responsive headlights, roof rails with integrated retractable crossbars, and rugged black cladding that give it a sporty, capable look. Its raised suspension, full-size spare, and LED fog lights reinforce that it’s designed to go further than the average crossover.

Behind the wheel, you’ll feel instantly confident. The turbocharged power gives you the punch you need to merge and pass with ease, while Subaru’s finely tuned suspension and electric power steering deliver a stable, composed ride even on rough roads. This is my second Outback Touring. I thought that the new technology and new body platform would be great, but I'm not so sure. My previous Outback had absolutely no rattles or squeaks, but this one does--in several places around the dash and the passenger side door, especially. Of course, the dealer couldn't hear any noises. There's also an occasional hesitation when driving. It's almost like the torque converter is disengaging momentarily. The dealer told me that the transmission is still "learning" my driving habits. There was nothing like that in the 2019 Outback. The new screen size is nice, but as I've read, and agree, there are too many menus to go through to get to what one wants. The heated seat controls are just one example. Invariably I will get a warning to pay attention when I am trying to find something on the screen. So far gas mileage is great. On a smooth flat road the ride is very comfortable and on the freeway I like the lane centering feature that my other one didn't have.

We recently retired and purchased a 2024 Outback Premium and love it! It’s got all the “bells & whistles” we need, plus the safety and reliability of a Subaru. We like to drive up to Lake Tahoe a lot and appreciate the AWD and “X Mode” for slippery driving conditions.

We bought this car new, recently retired we are traveling countryside. Bought it for the all wheel drive, it'll go dang near any where. Vehicle has alot of bells and whistles, only thing I'm not fond of, is the engines cylinders cutting off at stop light, it's useless. They should of focused on more horsepower. (You can shut it off) Would recommend getting turbo, other than that, I have no other issues. Highly recommend.
