We've just taken in a 2023 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition XT SUV finished in sleek Magnetite Gray Metallic with a Gray StarTex interior featuring green contrast stitching. With only 31,068 miles, one previous owner, and a spotless 0-accident history, this turbocharged SUV is in Good condition and still covered by its remaining factory powertrain warranty.

Perfectly blending rugged capability with modern luxury, this Outback Onyx Edition XT is designed for adventure seekers and families who want confidence, comfort, and advanced safety on every journey.

Under the hood, the Intercooled Turbo 2.4L BOXER engine delivers 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque, paired with Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and an 8-speed Lineartronic CVT. Together, they provide smooth, responsive acceleration and all-weather traction that inspires confidence whether you’re carving through winding backroads, navigating snowy commutes, or towing up to 3,500 pounds for your next weekend escape. With an impressive 29 MPG highway, it’s efficient enough for daily drives and powerful enough for mountain trails.

Inside, the cabin is as refined as it is functional. The durable StarTex-trimmed seats are water-repellent, easy to clean, and heated in both the front and rear for cozy comfort in any season. The power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support makes long drives a pleasure, while dual-zone automatic climate control keeps everyone comfortable.

The expansive power moonroof brightens the cabin, and soft-touch surfaces and piano black accents give it an upscale, modern feel. Ample cargo space, fold-flat rear seats, and a hands-free power liftgate make loading up for road trips or grocery runs effortless.

At the heart of the dash is an 11.6-inch STARLINK Multimedia Navigation System with voice-activated controls, HD Radio, and integrated TomTom navigation. Enjoy seamless smartphone connectivity with full-screen wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and enjoy other helpful features like proximity key entry, push-button start, and a HomeLink universal garage door transmitter that add everyday convenience, while the available trailer hitch enhances utility for outdoor lifestyles.

Safety is Subaru’s top priority, and this Outback comes equipped with Subaru’s award-winning EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Lane Departure Warning, and Pre-Collision Braking. Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Reverse Automatic Braking provide extra assurance in parking lots or tight spaces, while the HD backup camera with washer and LED adaptive headlights give you unmatched visibility day or night.

Subaru’s sturdy frame construction, advanced airbags, and X-MODE terrain management system combine to keep you safe, secure, and in control on any surface.

From the outside, the Onyx Edition XT stands out with its black 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, bold black grille, roof rails, LED lighting, and rugged design details that give it a strong, athletic stance. The Magnetite Gray Metallic paint shimmers in the light, projecting sophistication with a touch of adventure. Whether you’re heading into the city, the mountains, or anywhere in between, this Outback Onyx Edition XT is built to make every trip feel effortless, refined, and ready for anything.

This is my second Outback Touring. I thought that the new technology and new body platform would be great, but I'm not so sure. My previous Outback had absolutely no rattles or squeaks, but this one does--in several places around the dash and the passenger side door, especially. Of course, the dealer couldn't hear any noises. There's also an occasional hesitation when driving. It's almost like the torque converter is disengaging momentarily. The dealer told me that the transmission is still "learning" my driving habits. There was nothing like that in the 2019 Outback. The new screen size is nice, but as I've read, and agree, there are too many menus to go through to get to what one wants. The heated seat controls are just one example. Invariably I will get a warning to pay attention when I am trying to find something on the screen. So far gas mileage is great. On a smooth flat road the ride is very comfortable and on the freeway I like the lane centering feature that my other one didn't have.

We recently retired and purchased a 2024 Outback Premium and love it! It’s got all the “bells & whistles” we need, plus the safety and reliability of a Subaru. We like to drive up to Lake Tahoe a lot and appreciate the AWD and “X Mode” for slippery driving conditions.

We bought this car new, recently retired we are traveling countryside. Bought it for the all wheel drive, it'll go dang near any where. Vehicle has alot of bells and whistles, only thing I'm not fond of, is the engines cylinders cutting off at stop light, it's useless. They should of focused on more horsepower. (You can shut it off) Would recommend getting turbo, other than that, I have no other issues. Highly recommend.
