We’ve just taken in a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Limited SUV - it’s finished in Magnetite Gray Metallic, with a Black w/Orange Stitching leather-trimmed interior. This Crosstrek has just 16,856 miles and is powered by a fuel-efficient 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an 8-speed CVT with overdrive and Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. You’ll enjoy an impressive 27 MPG city and 34 MPG highway, making it easy to balance adventure with everyday practicality.

This Crosstrek has had just one previous owner and is in Very Good condition, offering peace of mind right from the start. It also carries the remaining factory powertrain warranty, adding extra confidence whether you’re commuting daily or heading out for weekend escapes.

From the moment you sit behind the wheel, this Crosstrek Limited feels thoughtfully designed for drivers who want versatility without sacrificing comfort. The elevated seating position gives you a confident view of the road, while Subaru’s AWD system works constantly in the background to deliver surefooted traction in rain, snow, gravel, or dirt trails. X-MODE adds another layer of confidence, helping you stay composed on steep hills or slippery terrain.

Inside, the cabin strikes a perfect balance between rugged and refined. The leather-trimmed seats with orange contrast stitching feel upscale yet durable, and the heated front seats bring instant comfort on cold mornings. The power driver’s seat makes it easy to dial in the perfect position, while the leather-wrapped steering wheel feels great in your hands on long drives. Soft footwell illumination adds a subtle, welcoming glow at night, making every drive feel a little more special.

Technology is front and center with the STARLINK 8.0-inch multimedia navigation system. The responsive touchscreen, built-in navigation, and Harman Kardon premium audio system turn every drive into an experience, whether you’re navigating unfamiliar roads or enjoying your favorite playlist. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto keep your apps, music, and messages seamlessly integrated, while Bluetooth connectivity and steering wheel controls help you stay focused on the road.

Safety is a major strength of this Crosstrek Limited. Subaru EyeSight driver-assist technology includes adaptive cruise control that glides smoothly through traffic, lane keep assist that helps reduce fatigue on long drives, and pre-collision braking for added peace of mind. Blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert make lane changes and parking lots less stressful, while the backup camera gives you clear visibility when reversing.

On the outside, the Crosstrek’s sporty stance is enhanced by 18-inch black/silver alloy wheels with a machine finish, LED steering-responsive headlights, fog lights, and a sleek rear spoiler. The power moonroof lets in fresh air and sunlight, perfect for scenic drives or just enjoying a nice day. Practical touches like the cargo net, cargo cover, and flexible rear seats make it easy to haul gear, groceries, or weekend adventure essentials.

2nd Subaru and More Impressive than the First

by Crusher on Sunday, October 08, 2017

My wife loves her Subrau Baja and swore she would never part with it. Two grand kids later we needed something with more room. She test drove the Outback and decided it was just too big for her and she couldnt get excited about it. The Foresters driver seat just didnt fit her comfortably. The 2018 Crosstrek has proven just right. She loves the comfort, handling, quiet cabin, adaptive headlights, Eyesight safety systems and the bright Sunshine Orange exterior and gray interior with orange contrast stitching. When I told her she needed to drive the Baja so I could wash her Crosstrek she gave me a dirty look. I guess you could say she is very happy with her Crosstrek (Crusher). Im very impressed with the performance and mileage (even during break in). The Crosstrek is averaging 33 MPG on the second tank of gas. Motortrend just did a comparison of the Crosstrek against a Nissan and Jeep and confirmed the Crosstrek is no slouch. It had the fastest acceleration to 60 MPH. I know the Crosstrek is faster than our Subaru Baja with its 2.5L engine. The Crosstrek gives us about 5 inches more legroom in the backseat over the Baja without sacrificing legroom in the front. The only con is limited storage behind the backseat. With 2 car seats in place you are limited to 20.8 Cubic feet of storage. Next week we are putting snow tires on Crusher for the winter. The Baja was exceptionally secure with snow tires during winter driving. My wife is hoping the Crosstrek does just as well. No car is perfect yet the Crosstrek does so many things well it will be hard to find anything in its price range that delivers a better total package.

      Incorrect KBB Review

by nitpicker on Wednesday, September 22, 2021

A turbo engine is not available as stated by the KBB reviewer. A stronger naturally aspirated 182 hp one is available on the two upper lever models which make a huge difference in how the car handles. I thought would be purchasers would want to know this!

      Very nice small crossover

by nyken on Thursday, December 07, 2017

I have owned my Crosstrek Limited for only a few weeks. So far I am very happy with this vehicle. It looks great inside and out. The seats are very comfortable. I love all of the new safety features. Subaru has done a really impressive job with the eysight system. Its too soon comment on gas mileage. The car is fun to drive. It is very quiet and is fairly peppy despite the small engine. There are just a few minor a few things that I am disappointed in. The doors do not automatically lock. This is unusual for a top of the line trim model. Also the navigation is not up to par with the Garmin that I had previously. Because of the eysight cameras, it is awkward to adjust the rear view mirror as the top of the mirror is almost touching the bottom of the camera housing. You can only adjust it from the bottom and this is where the homelink controls are. This is not that big of a deal, only slightly annoying. Its just a result a putting a lot of equipment into a small car. Overall I am very happy with the Crosstrek and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small AWD crossover.
