We've just taken in a 2023 Subaru Ascent Limited SUV - its finished in Crystal Black Silica, with a Slate Black perforated leather interior. With 76,637 miles, Subarus legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a turbocharged 2.4L SUBARU BOXER engine, 8-Speed CVT, and an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 25 MPG highway, this three-row SUV is built to keep up with busy families, weekend adventures, and everything in between.

It has had just 1 previous owner, is in Good condition, and includes a 1-month, 1,000-mile dealership powertrain warranty for added confidence. The factory equipment and Technology Package include a panoramic moonroof, navigation, Harman Kardon audio, Surround View Monitor, second-row captains chairs, and a power folding mirror system.

Slide into the drivers seat and youll immediately appreciate the elevated driving position, supportive power leather seating, and heated steering wheel that takes the chill out of cold mornings. Heated front and second-row seats help keep everyone comfortable, while tri-zone automatic climate control lets every passenger settle into their own ideal temperature.

The spacious seven-passenger layout with second-row captains chairs creates easy access to the third row while giving everyone room to stretch out on longer trips.

The turbocharged BOXER engine delivers confident acceleration whether youre merging onto the highway or climbing steep grades, while Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-Mode, Hill Descent Control, and Trailer Stability Assist inspire confidence when the weather changes or the road leads somewhere less traveled. The raised roof rails and generous cargo area make it easy to bring bikes, camping gear, sports equipment, or luggage without sacrificing passenger comfort.

Technology is everywhere you look. The large 11.6-inch STARLINK touchscreen features wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, integrated navigation, Bluetooth, HD Radio, and a premium Harman Kardon surround sound system that fills the cabin with rich, immersive audio. That panoramic power moonroof brings natural light into all three rows, creating an open and inviting atmosphere for every drive.

Safety remains one of the Ascents biggest strengths. EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering helps reduce stress during highway travel, while Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation, Front Collision Mitigation, Lane Keep Assist, and the Surround View Monitor help you stay aware of your surroundings in traffic and tight parking spaces. Every trip feels more relaxed knowing these intelligent systems are working alongside you.

      Great SUV and value!!!

by Flux Gambino on 7/3/2026 10:11:38 AM

We have a 2022 Limited. It has been a great car with great options. It rides smoothly. It’s great in snow and ice. It has a lot of options for the price, and Subaru is always at the top of the list for safety.

      Great up to a point

      by Adam C on 3/24/2026 1:28:49 PM

We have a 2020 Ascent Limited. We like its features. Ride is a bit bumpy (my wife's term) and there can be more than a little road noise - but less than in the Outback we used to own. Engine is strong. Don't believe those who say the accelerator is "touchy". Mileage is good at 23 - 24. The only major issue was with the CVT at 125,000 miles. Dealer wanted $5000 to replace the torque converters. I contacted Subaru and they covered the full repair out of warranty. Bullet dodged. My advice is to trade it under 100,000 miles.

      The Great Ascent

by Dorrellkc on 1/30/2026 3:00:46 AM

If your looking for a big Forester then the Ascent is it. Gas mileage is more smiles per gallon vs anything reasonable. The third row comes in handy when needed, but don't expect to put full size adults in the third row for more than a couple of hours. The third row should be reserved for the kids. The radio is ok but it does lag from the initial startup of the car to pressing buttons which is a bit annoying and I wish that I could update the software to the new software that is in the 26 Outback. Even with all of that said, the Ascent fits our needs and we are happy with the AWD system and the overall handling. The Ascent is a joy to drive and has been very capable when needed. Keep up with the maintenance schedule and drive it like a normal human and the vehicle will treat you well.
