FUEL-EFFICIENT SUV -- JEEP UTILITY -- COMPACT AND EASY TO PARK -- 27 MPG HIGHWAY -- CVT AUTOMATIC -- PREMIUM CLOTH INTERIOR -- FOG LAMPS -- FOLD-FLAT REAR SEAT -- GREAT VALUE SUV --

We’ve just taken in a 2014 Jeep Patriot Sport SUV - it’s finished in Maximum Steel Metallic Clearcoat, with a Dark Slate Gray premium cloth interior. This Patriot shows 149,380 miles and is powered by a fuel-efficient 2.0L Regular Unleaded I-4 engine paired with a smooth 1-speed CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, delivering an EPA-estimated 22 MPG city and 27 MPG highway.

This Jeep has had 3 previous owners and has been well cared for over the years, arriving in Good overall condition. It is being offered As-Is due to age and mileage, making it an excellent opportunity for a value-focused buyer looking for dependable transportation with classic Jeep utility.

The Patriot Sport is a smart fit for drivers who want SUV versatility without the size or cost of a larger vehicle. Slide into the driver’s seat and you’ll appreciate the upright seating position and wide windshield that give you a confident view of the road. The compact footprint makes daily commuting and tight parking lots easy, while the SUV stance still delivers that reassuring Jeep feel behind the wheel.

Around town, the Patriot feels light and nimble, with responsive steering and a comfortable ride that soaks up rough pavement. The efficient 4-cylinder engine keeps fuel stops to a minimum, making this a great choice for commuters, first-time buyers, or anyone looking for an affordable SUV that is easy to live with day in and day out.

Inside, the cabin is simple, functional, and thoughtfully laid out. The premium cloth bucket seats provide supportive comfort for longer drives, and the manual driver lumbar adjustment helps you dial in your ideal seating position. Air conditioning keeps the cabin comfortable year-round, while the Uconnect audio system with AM/FM/CD/MP3 capability and auxiliary input lets you bring your favorite music along for every drive.

Practicality is where this Patriot really shines. The 60-40 split folding rear seat makes it easy to switch from passengers to cargo in seconds, giving you flexible space for groceries, weekend projects, or road trip gear. Deep-tinted glass adds privacy and helps keep the interior cooler on sunny days, while fog lamps improve visibility when weather conditions turn less than perfect.

Safety features like stability control, traction control, ABS brakes, multiple airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system work quietly in the background to help keep you and your passengers protected and confident on the road.

      The Cheaper Jeep

by Chris on Monday, February 08, 2016

Jeep is well known for off road capabilities and overall the patriot will do the job off road. I recently traded in my patriot for a wrangler. I liked driving my patriot and only had a complaint about the quality of certain things in the car such as the weather molding coming undone after 6 months. Little things like the radio would randomly act up and cause minor headaches. Although I generally liked my patriot the most alarming thing is how horribly these patriots hold their value. Upon wanting to trade I was told my Jeep had depreciated over $9,000 and had to trade in with negative equity. They had over 20 patriots on the lot and only 2 wranglers. Simply put I think if you can afford a little higher payment it is worth investing in a wrangler. The resale value stays extremely strong for wranglers and I personally just love owning a wrangler! Although the patriot makes a great family car for a cheaper initial price tag.

      Great vehicle for the price

by Gordo on Sunday, November 27, 2011

My wife had a Jeep Liberty and we were looking for something that got better fuel mileage but still 4wd. The jeep patriot is still just as roomy and fun to drive. I would recommend this vehicle to family of 4 and anyone who lives in a winter climate.

Money pit!! Avoid at all costs

      Wednesday, September 01, 2021

We bought this Jeep brand new. Have replaced the transmission, head, water pump, radiator, transmission dipstick (it fell off and almost lodged into the fan), it dies while driving yearly which is fixed by replacing the camshaft and crankshaft sensor. Have put almost $7,000 in repairs. We took it for its routine oil changes, brake service, tune up and STILL these issues appeared. I messaged and called Jeep/Mopar about these issues and never receive a response, so I vowed to tell anyone and everyone to AVOID JEEP PRODUCTS. Absolutely ruined my excitement over buying my first new car.
